Bio
I began my career as a writer and communicator in college classrooms teaching adults academic writing skills. Academic writing is more than writing, success in my class involves thinking critically and effectively communicating about a variety of issues. Like most instructors, I find fulfillment in collaborating with other adults to achieve a goal.
The same enthusiasm that won me a nomination for "Teacher of the Year" during my first quarter also earned me a successful career as an instructional consultant in the high tech industry. For the past nine years I have been serving clients. Recently I performed in the area of corporate communications using a variety of tools and methods to effectively communicate changes to stakeholders in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific Rim regions. Consistent feedback highlights my abilities in the following areas: knowledge of software implementation methods; ability to work with project teams, business analysts, IT engineers, and end users; project problem solving; producing superior materials; and maintaining an engaging presence during delivery.
My personal work ethic includes reliability, honesty, client advocation, perserverance, and getting the job done on time and within budget.
